The Lavender Garden houses one of the most comprehensive collections of the Lavender family in the country. Over 40 kinds (which are each labelled clearly, stating height, width and flowering time) can be seen. Flowers range from purple, blue, white, pink and red.

The majority of the Lavenders in the garden can be bought at The Herb Garden, and advice can be given on the position and type of soil the plants prefer.

The fragrance of the Lavender garden can be best appreciated during the months of July and August.
