The Herb Garden at Hardstoft, Pilsley is one of the most important in the country. Its rare and unusual herbs, the historical interest of its physic garden and the sweet-scented lavender and pot pourri gardens have made it a favourite destination in the area for over 25 years.

The Herb Garden was established in 1983 by previous owners Lynne and Steve Raynor, who retired in 2011. It is now being re-launched by its new owners, Enable Housing Association, and will be fully open to the public in spring 2012.

To celebrate The Herb Garden’s re-launch, we’re hosting two weekend taster events in the run-up to Christmas. They’re an ideal opportunity to see the gardens, try the tea-shop’s home-made cakes, browse through the selection of handmade festive craftwork and gifts, and introduce your children to Santa.
